The Hipsturbia Story, An unexpected start

 

A former city dwellers who transplanted to the suburbs, I founded Hipsturbia Collective in 2021 to help local businesses reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic. Writing at first about stores and restaurants I knew, I started discovering hidden gems that I was thrilled to share with my followers. As the pandemic waned and Hipsturbia's online community grew, I continued seeking out in addition to curating my own chic, eclectic and extraordinary places and experiences that I could share with our followers while also remaining true to my original mission of helping local businesses.

I have seen first-hand the power of social/digital platforms for driving new business.
