About Great Gorge Golf Club

Initially constructed and inaugurated in 1970 by Hugh Hefner, the Great Gorge Golf Club was the private golf course for The Great Gorge Playboy Club & Resort. This prestigious Vernon site was renowned for attracting top entertainment figures. Although the Playboy brand eventually shut down the resort and it changed ownership several times before closing to the public, the golf course has endured. Today, Great Gorge Golf Club is thriving as a unique destination offering both traditional and new golf experiences.
